Welcome to EZCropper ("us", "we", or "our"), accessible at ezcropper.app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in relation to your use of our web application.

1. Information We Do Not Collect or Store

Image Data: EZCropper is designed as a client-side image processing tool. This means that any images you upload and process using our service are handled directly within your web browser on your device. We do not upload, transmit, store, or have access to your original or processed images on our servers. Your images remain your property and under your control at all times during the editing process.

2. Information We May Collect

While we do not collect your image data, we may collect limited information in the following circumstances:

Contact and Email Information: If you contact us or opt in to email updates, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. We use Resend to deliver contact replies, welcome messages, and other emails you explicitly request.
Usage Data (Umami Analytics): We use Umami Cloud to collect aggregated website usage data such as pages visited, referrer, browser and device type, general geographic location (for example, country), and privacy-safe tool events. We do not send image contents, file names, or other image metadata to Umami.
Account and Usage-Limit Data (Firebase): If you sign in, Google Firebase provides authentication and stores the minimum account and aggregate usage-counter data needed to operate account features and enforce usage limits. Your images are not stored in Firebase.
Advertising: EZCropper does not currently load advertising tags or serve advertisements. If advertising is activated in the future, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before advertising requests are enabled.

3. How We Use Information (Non-Image Data)

Any non-image data we collect is used for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
To improve, personalize, and expand our Service.
To understand and analyze how you use our Service.
To develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
To communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the Service, and for marketing and promotional purposes (if you opt-in).
To prevent fraud and ensure the security of our Service.

4. Cookies and Web Beacons

EZCropper and its active service providers may use cookies or browser storage where necessary for sign-in, account sessions, security, local preferences, and analytics controls. You can configure your browser to refuse or clear this storage, although account-related features may then stop working correctly.

We do not currently set or request advertising cookies. Before enabling advertising, we will add the required consent and opt-out controls for applicable regions.

5. Third-Party Services

Our active service providers are Umami Cloud for analytics, Google Firebase for authentication and account data, and Resend for email delivery. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy terms. Our Service may also contain links to third-party websites that are not operated by us; we recommend reviewing the privacy policy of every external site you visit.

6. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your information (where applicable for non-image data) and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

As your images are processed client-side, the security of your image data primarily depends on the security of your own device and browser environment.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
